Atif has 25 years experience in the finance and banking industry - dealing with over $1.5 billion in PE and debt deals.
A UK National, Atif has held a number of Directorships, holds a BA in Economics has been FSA and DFSA registered.
He previously set up a regulated
investment manager with a $25bn
AUM US RIA.
His motive for founding Capira Capital:
“Rather than being tied to one institution and their platform, being able to service clients' needs without restricted solutions and having alignment of interests. I could then find the best partner for each transaction."

John was a Partner in the Securities Division at Goldman Sachs, and as the founder of Hay Tor Capital, focuses on strategic investments and advisory in the fintech space.
John holds a degree from the University of Oxford and served on the Investment Committee at Exeter College, leveraging a deep understanding of markets and investment strategies to drive long-term value.

Tariq is a Managing Director of Akrivia Capital, a consortium of private equity and capital raising professionals leveraging deep relationships in the GCC through decades of on-the-ground investing experience.
Tariq has been in the private equity and real estate investments industry for over 30 years. He was the co-founder of one of the first real estate investment and advisory firms in the UAE when he co-founded TAKtical Advisory Group and TAKtical Realty Group - which went on to do over $2.3B in real estate transactions and investments over a period of 9 years prior to Tariq’s sale and exit.

He was the head of Asia Pacific Structured Finance for NatWest and Deutsche Bank and the Global Head for UBS. And also involved in property financing, major asset financing, such as: aircraft, project finance, privatisations, hospital funding and tax efficient financings.
Prior to this, Gregory qualified as a Chartered Accountant while working for a leading auditing firm.
